Hi lovely readers!
I don’t know about you, but as much as I love reading writer-specific posts, sometimes what I love most is feeling as though I’m really getting to know a person. Little snippets of personality can be caught through more subject-specific posts, but the personal blogs are the ones that really feel like the person behind the computer is real! So today I thought I’d do more of a lifestyle blog and share with you the 10 things I can’t live without. And obviously I can’t live without my family, partner, friends and dog but if I listed all of those I’d be well over 10, so I’m sticking today with more physical aspects.
I’d love to hear what you can’t live without too!
A generic one, I know, but I am a person who’s mood can change drastically with a bit of music! I love listening when I wake up, when I get ready, in the bath, in the car – anywhere I can squeeze it in!
2. My trainers
Honestly, I am obsessed with a comfy shoe. If I can avoid it, I never wear anything I know will be even SLIGHTLY uncomfortable – forget stilettos, I’m awful in them! Every time I drive, run, take the dogs out, nip to the shops, etc etc etc I’m in my trainers. The bottom moulds to my feet and it’s like a dream for my toes. Ahhh.
I am a huge fan of a nice, grainy exfoliator – it just makes me feel so clean and fresh when I’ve used it! It also keeps my skin soft and breakout free, and helps me remove any dead skin cells to keep skin as healthy as possible.
This is an obvious one, but true! I’m such an avid reader, and now I’ve finished my degree I enjoy sticking my nose in anything that isn’t academic literature even more!
5. Being able to see the world
Travelling and exploring new places is my favourite thing ever. Even when money has been tight, trips to other places in the UK or European cities has been just as amazing for me as further flung places. Nothing excites me more than a getaway!
6. Hand Sanitizer
Yes, I’m one of those people that loves to keep germ-free. Especially working in an office/school, cold and flu is so common that you have to stay protected!
I have the worst sweet tooth in the world – I literally don’t feel complete after dinner unless I’ve had pudding – and so chocolate is something I really don’t think I could live without.
8. Eyebrow pencil
Lol, yes, this one is a must. I can go with having flawed skin and no eyelashes, but my natural eyebrows are so patchy and thin from overplucking years ago! I’d love to get them microbladed one day but I have the fear something will go wrong and I’ll hate them, so for now I’ll stick with the pencil.
I am OBSESSED with brunching. It’s where all my money goes. I regret nothing.
10. My laptop
Eh I dunno, I think this one’s kinda a stretch as I could write on pen and paper and use apps etc on my phone, but I do love having my laptop so I’l bung this one on the end.
