Hope you’re all well and have had a great week! We’ve had some lovely sunshine across most days, yet the UK seems to have come to its senses; it’s pouring down with rain today. Nonetheless, I’m not here to talk about the weather this week, you’ll be glad to hear! So as usual, thanks for reading this week’s Behind The Scenes blog – it’s very much appreciated. I may drop these BTS blogs down to fortnightly now as the book has been published but I haven’t fully decided yet. I’ll keep you updated!
Anyway, enough rambling. Let’s get into it
So, yes; Beyond is published! It really is an amazing feeling.
Friday the 1st was it’s official release date, though it was available to pre-order slightly earlier than then, so I guess that helped ease me into the whole thing. And, instead of sitting at home constantly refreshing pages and worrying myself, I spent the day at work inundated in paper (and occasionally refreshing and worrying myself!). So, it felt like a pretty normal day really.
In the evening, my partner and I went to The Crazy Bear in London for dinner and drinks to celebrate. It was my first time there and I was pretty impressed! If you’re into nice food and quirky decor, this could be right up your street.
And weirdly, now I don’t feel worried anymore. What will be will be: my book is out, and that is huge accomplishment in itself! Fingers crossed people like the premise enough to buy and spread the word, and whatever follows from that, great. I’ve already had some brilliant feedback and support, it’s doing well in the Amazon rankings, and I couldn’t ask for any more really!
REMINDER: The Kindle version is only at promo price for under a pound for a few more days. So, if you’re thinking about downloading, now is the time!
